Issue #1) Getting through the anger and depression stages

This has been a big one for me. Somehow I need to allow myself to accept the fact that I can comprehend simple instructions. It is hard but I know that is part of what has has made me un-empoyable. That plus getting lost in the stock room and forgetting what the customer odered!
I find the best way to accept the new me is to chill! I understand that the stress of worrying only makes it worse.
What do others do? I need some support!

Issue #2) telling my close friends& others that I have AD

This is another tough one. This is the way I look at it. You have two chioces.
.
1) If you tell them than the intelligent ones woll understand.

2) If you don't tell them they will look at you and say to them selves, "What is up with him?"

I take option #1 and pray they will remain friends with me!

Issue #3) The computer is a God-send - memory on demand!

This is true for me. I keep medical records on Word documents for reference.

Issue 4) Tasks of Daily Living.

I probably need 4 times the time that I previously needed for showering, shaving, dressing, chores around the home etc.
Accepting that is important for me to keep anger (issue 1) at bay.

Issue #5) Patient and caregiver acceptance

Acceptance by both Patiens and Caregivers is very important in dealing with  any of the isses noted here.

Issue #6) not being able to align my thoughts in a coherent fashion

Man, I just can't get a handle on this one. How does anybody else plan. My "Plan of Action" was to "Plan my work and work my plan". Then there is always the simple fact that I can't find the correct word for what I want to say.
Anybody got some thoughts on that?

Issue #7) Sundowning

I'll proboba;y always need help with this one. I comes over me every evening and if there is any commotion around me I don't handel it well. A few hours later my Seroquel kicks in if I remember to take it when I should. Then everything is leveled out again and I go to sleep.
Does anyone have a better way to handel it? I would like to eliminate the Seroquel but I can't until we find a replacement mood stableizer.
